Final Cooking Class for 2024!

For our final cooking session of the year, there was a special festive activity planned, decorating biscuits to look like reindeer, baubles or even Santa!  Unfortunately, Granny Sue was unwell and couldn't join us this time, but we were lucky to have Stacey step in to run the class.

Stacey showed the students how they could turn simple biscuits into adorable reindeer faces or baubles.  Using icing as glue, students attached pretzels for antlers, M&Ms for eyes and jaffas for the red noses.  Each creation was unique, with some students adding their own creative touches to their biscuits.

Everyone had fun decorating their biscuits and there was lots of sticky fingers which the students were eagerly waiting to lick once they were finished!

A big thank you to Stacey for stepping in today, and to Granny Sue for sharing so many of your wonderful recipes with us this year.  We can't wait for more cooking fun and to see what's on the menu next year!

Statewide Orientation Day

Tuesday 10th of December is the statewide orientation day. On this day, the students will be going in to their new 2025 grades for the morning.

Every year, some students get anxious about having a change. They might come home worried or not sure. This is perfectly natural and happens to a lot of children. The teachers are all committed to making all children feel welcome in their classrooms.
