Basketball Clinic

Sporting Schools is a $200 million Australian Government initiative designed to help schools to increase children's participation in sport, and to connect them with community sporting opportunities.
Karingal Heights Primary School applied for a grant through Sporting Schools and were fortunate enough to recieve funding for our students to participate in an active, engaging and fun basketball program.
Over a course of 4 weeks, coaches from Frankston and District Basketball Assosiation have been providing professionally ran development sessions for all the students.  They have all enjoyed learning new basketball skills!

School Notice Board - 11th August

National Day Against Bullying and Violence
Friday 18th of August 2023 is National Day of Action against bullying and violence.

The school will be promoting being an upstander and will be doing activities throughout this day.

If you need wellbeing assistance for yourself or someone you know, please refer to the 'Wellbeing' page.

Evacuation Drill
The school will be running a practise evacuation soon. We understand that some children do find these drills stressful but they are very important as they ensure everything is in place in the event of a real emergency.

Could parents/carers please talk to their children about the importance of practising and that it is not a real emergency that will be happening?

We did it

164 tubs sold

Thank you to all the families that supported the cookie dough fundraiser. Through this fundraiser, sold 164 tubs, raising over $400 for the school.
