Student and Parent Handbook

The student and parent handbook is a great resource. Please spend a few minutes looking at the student and parent handbook. This is a good source for how we support positive behaviour, how behaviour is managed and what programs we use to support social and emotional wellbeing.
This information can be found in the About tab on the school website as well. Please look at this with your child and discuss what they already know.

Forms from School

In the past few weeks there have been many forms sent home from school that need to be returned. Many forms are needed to be signed by you due to Department of Education requirements. It is important that you read these forms before signing as if not completed correctly they will be sent home again.

Many forms, such as swimming notices, have a return by date. Due back to school dates are needed due to the booking of buses, how many sessions a presenter may need, etc. Unfortunately, if a form is not returned by the due date, your child may miss out on an event.

If you do not understand the requirements of a form, please contact the office.

We need some mulch movers!

We have a big pile of mulch in our staff car park that needs moving. If you have a spare hour to help move some, just drop by the office and we will supply you with a rake and a shovel.

Thank you in anticipation.

NAPLAN is almost here

In May this year, all children in grade 3 and 5 will be participating in NAPLAN teating. For the first time ever we will be completing this testing online. Over the next few weeks your children will be participating in practise activities so that they become used to the new format.

Have you ever wondered what the tests look like? There is a public site that the children will be using practise and that you can look at too.
