On Friday the 12th of May, we played netball against Frankston Primary School. In the first quarter Imogen fell over and was out for the rest of the game with a knee injury. In the second quarter we scored 10 goals, this was because our defenders stuck right on their players and were able to take lots of intercepts! The end score was 24-6, us being 24 and them being 6. This was our second win of the competition after playing two rounds and forfeiting round one due to school photos. Our BOC (best on court) this week went to Summer who was a big part of the game shooting lots of goals for our team.
On Friday the KHPS soccer team went to Frankston Primary School for interschool sport. Unfortunately, we did not have enough players to play so we were forced to forfeit. However, Frankston Primary School were kind enough to let us borrow five players so that we could still have a game. At half time Frankston PS gave us oranges, they were yum! Although we didn't have our normal team to play with, we still had lots of fun playing with some of the students from Frankston Primary School.
For Round 3 of Winter Sport we travelled by bus to Frankston Primary School to play football. Before the game started we put on our football boots while saying "we can do this" to one another in hope we could play well enough to win. When the whistle blew to start the game we all went to our positions on the field. Jerry's height was a bonus, helping us to win most of the ruck contests in the game. Connor's defence was amazing, getting plenty of tackles. Cooper had a fantastic game, kicking six goals for KHPS. Mitchell and Trae also contributed to the score, both booting two goals with Chace also getting one goal. We won 75-8 and were happy with how our team played.
