Thank You For Another Successful Working Bee

Last Friday the 21st of November we were lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful sunny day for our school working bee, and what a fantastic success it was!  It was great to see so many parents, carers, friends, staff and students generously giving up their time to help make our school grounds look their very best.

Thanks to everyone's hard work, the deck was freshly re-stained, giving it a bright new look.  The front gardens had new mulch and plants added, instantly lifting the appearance of our entrance.  Trees across the school were carefully pruned, helping to keep our grounds safe and tidy, and cobwebs were removed from around the buildings, making everything feel cleaner and more welcoming.

A huge thanks to everyone who came along to lend a hand, your support truly makes a difference, and our school looks amazing because of you!

A Festive Thank You Lunch for Our School Community

Friday the 5th of December, our whole school was treated to a delicious festive lunch, generously provided by the Fundraising Committee as a thank you to everyone for their wonderful support throughout the year.  It was also a special way to celebrate the close of the 2025 school year together.

Students and staff enjoyed a mouthwatering meal of roast chicken, golden roast potatoes, carrots, fresh green salad, soft bread rolls and plenty of gravy followed by refreshing watermelon.  Smiles were everywhere as everyone sat together to share the meal and enjoy the end of year celebrations.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our amazing Fundraising Committee for organising such a thoughtful and generous lunch.

Thank you also to all the families for your continued generosity and support in 2025 and we look forward to another fantastic year ahead!

Potatoes From Our School Garden!

There has been great excitement in our school vegetable garden as students recently harvested what can only be described as a mountain of potatoes!  What began as a small planting project has turned into a huge success, with a bucket of potatoes pulled from the soil.

Students carefully planted the seed potatoes earlier in the year and over the weeks, they watered, weeded and checked on their plants, eagerly watching the leaves grow taller and stronger.  The real excitement came when it was time to dig them up, and what a surprise it was!  Potatoes of all shapes and sizes kept appearing as the soil was turned over.

The students worked hard helping in the garden with Miss Smith, and their efforts really paid off with this amazing harvest!

SWPBS Focus for the Remainder of the Term

As we head into the final two weeks of term, our SWPBS focus will be on revising all of the key behaviour expectations we have explored throughout the year. Classroom teachers will be revisiting familiar topics such as  being respectful, being safe, being responsible and being resilient, with an emphasis on what is most relevant in their current classroom context.

This end-of-year revision helps students reflect on the progress they’ve made, reinforce positive habits, and finish the term with confidence. Each class will tailor the focus to the routines and behaviours that matter most for their learning environment, ensuring the expectations remain meaningful and practical.

We look forward to ending the year on a positive note as we celebrate the growth and achievements of all our students.
