The students from grades 3-6 have been working on creating a classroom fete as part of their learning. The fete is on Thursday 11th September. Students will be going into the fete from 1:45pm. Any parents/carers and grandparents that want to come and see their child's stall are welcome to come in from 3:00pm. To avoid cash handling by the children, tokens can be purchased in advance next week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednseday after school or Thursday morning. Tokens will be held at the office and distributed Thursday to those that have purchased them. The students are raising money for playground improvements. Thank you for your support. | |

Swooping Birds update | |
For the past few weeks, the butcher birds have been starting to nest in the school grounds. The area with the most activity is near the gazebo. The tree with the green brick planter bed is most likely home base. To manage the swooping bird situation at the school, we ask that: * Students wear broad brim hats outside. * Everyone avoid travelling past the tree unless in a larger group. Pairs or individuals to travel close to the building or through the corridors. * Everyone remind others to keep an eye out. We are currently seeking options to control the swooping bird situation. | ![]() |
