We would like to take a moment to acknowledge and congratulate our amazing Grade 3 and 5 students for their hard work and dedication during the recent NAPLAN testing. Sitting these assessments requires focus, perseverance, and a positive attitude, and we are incredibly proud of how our students approached the challenge. NAPLAN is just one part of their learning journey, and regardless of the results, each student should be proud of their effort and determination. SWPBS FocusAt Karingal Heights Primary School, we continue to foster a positive school environment by reinforcing our SWPBS expectations. For the next two weeks, our focus will be on two key behaviors: 1. We Accept Our Mistakes and Apologise When Mistakes Are MadeMaking mistakes is a natural part of learning and growing. At our school, we encourage students to take responsibility for their actions, learn from their mistakes, and demonstrate respect by offering sincere apologies when needed. Some key discussion points include: 2. We Put Equipment Away When We Finish Using ItRespecting our learning and play environments is an important part of being a responsible member of our school community. This expectation reminds students to take care of equipment and ensure that shared resources are put away properly after use. Ways we can show responsibility: By focusing on respect and responsibility, we are helping to build a school culture where everyone feels safe, supported, and ready to learn. Thank you for reinforcing these behaviors at home and encouraging your child to be a respectful and responsible member of our school community! Karingal Heights P.S. SWPBS Team
