Tennis Clinic 2024

Over a series of sessions, representatives from Better Tennis, a renounded tennis training organisation visited KHPS to run a fun filled tennis clinic with the students.  This clinic was a wonderful chance for all the students to learn and enjoy the sport of tennis.

The Better Tennis representatives brought along all the necessary equipment, including tennis nets, racquets and balls.  Our multipurpose court was transformed into a series of mini tennis courts, each buzzing with excitement.

The clinic began with a warm up session where students learned the basics of tennis, such as how to hold the racquet properly and the correct stance for hitting the ball.  After the demonstrations, students were divided into smaller groups to practice these skills.  To end each session and to put their new skills to the test, the students played various fun games such as 'Dodge Ball'.

The visit from Better Tennis was not only fun, but also an educational experience promoting physical activity and teamwork.  The students had a great time learning new tennis skills and hopeful it has sparked some interest in continuing to play the sport.

School Notice Board - 14th June 2024

Thank you
Over the past couple of weeks, the staff and a group of parents have worked hard to refresh the look of the Art room. It is a work in progress and there are still many ideas that have been suggested to keep improving the space.
I would like to be the voice of thank you for the children and staff at the school, so thank you to the 6 parents and two very special children, who gave up days either during the week, or on the weekend, to work on school improvement.
Without parents donating time and resources, things like this can't be achieved. The chchildren are very impressed with how their refreshed room feels.

Holiday Program:

Amazing Toys, Mornington school holiday program:
We are offering affordable fun activities and with most activities priced from $5.00 to $15.00. We have noticed times are extremely hard for families at the moment with the cost of living and if parents are looking for cheaper options to entertain their children then I believe our program will meet this criteria.
