Easter Hat Parade 2024

The excitement from all the students for our annual Easter Hat parade was enormous.  Hats of all shapes and sizes were on display for everyone to see.
It was great to see so many families and friends come and watch the students parade around with their class to show off their wonderful creations while dancing or hopping to the fun music.

We would like to wish everyone in the Karingal Heights Primary School community a very safe and Happy Easter holidays!

Colour Fun Run 2024

On Monday afternoon the sun was shining for our school Colour Run which was enjoyed by everyone who joined in!  It was such a fantastic way to finish off the last week of Term 1.

The oval was transformed into a sea of colour as the students took off in their class groups around the course.  Throughout the course there were many colour stations where some students ran fast through to avoid the colour, while others stopped to get covered in it!  There was also a water squirting area which the students enjoyed as well as the parents who were trying to drench the kids as they ran by.

One of the big highlights for the afternoon was sliming the teachers!

It was terrific to see so many family members, friends, teachers and children come together and get involved.  The smiling faces said it all and certainly made it worthwhile!  With all the smiles and laughter around the oval, it was difficult to decide who had more fun, the staff, family members and friends, or the students!

A big THANK YOU to those who have raised money for the school.  So far we have raised over $4000!  No matter how big or small, every donation is appreciated and assists in our end goal.
A reminder that all money raised and prize order selections are to be finalised by April 16th. This can be done through the students profile page.

Track Athletics Day 2024

Last Friday students from Years 4, 5 and 6 went to Ballam Park to compete against many other schools from our area in the District Track Athletics.  It was a beautiful day and all the students tried their best and supported each other by cheering and yelling words of encouragement.

Congratulations to all the students on their amazing effort and a special mention goes out to Alby, Jaxon and Kerry who all came away with a 3rd place ribbon in their events.
