Colour Run 2024

Get ready to put on your running shoes, don your most colorful attire, and join us for an exhilarating and vibrant event that promises fun, fitness, and a kaleidoscope of colours – the School Fun Run’s Crazy Colour Day!

Mark your calendars because on Monday 25th March, our school grounds will be transformed into a canvas of colours. The event aims to promote health, wellness, and community spirit while having an absolute blast!

This will be our major fundraiser for the year, and we’re raising funds to go towards the refurbishment of the basketball court! Sign up at funrun.com.au today to get involved!

Get ready to make memories with your kids, while they run, laugh, and get drenched in a spectrum of colors!

This week in Art

This week in Art the students were focusing on using lines and colour to create beautiful pieces of art.

The 1/2 students enjoyed some time in the sun practicing their line work using chalk on a large canvas before returning to the art room to recreate their ideas onto a smaller piece of paper.  The students did a great job trying to use defined lines without smudging their chalk art work.

The 4/5/6 students did scratch art and used defined lines to create lovely indigenous inspired art pieces.

And the 3/4 students wrote their name and things about themselves using swirling lines to join them together without taking the marker off the page.  They then used colours to bring their art work to life!
