Grade 6 Graduation, Academic Excellence Awards and School Captains for 2024

Karingal Heights Primary School's Grade 6 Graduation, Academic Excellence and 2024 School Captains awards night on Friday 15th December was attended by lots of friends and family members.

This night was a special occasion for all our Grade 6 students and was a way for us to recognise their time at Karingal Heights PS.  The students looked great, had big smiles, and got up and spoke well in front of the large crowd.

On behalf of our school community, we would like to congratulate all our 2023 Grade 6 students on all they have achieved during their time at primary school and wish them all the best for their futures.  We would like to say a special congratulations to Ewan and Thomas who have made it into McClelland College's Elite Performance Program. Well Done!

All our Grade 6 students will be missed at school, but we are excited to see them begin their new journeys.

The following families are also leaving Karingal Heights PS:

  • Black family
  • Macpherson family
  • Renes family
  • McGuire family

We would like to thank you for being a part of the KHPS school community and for all your support over the years.

On this night we also congratulated all of our Academic Excellence award winners and the 2024 School Captains! Well Done and Congratulations!!

Grade 6 Activity Day 2023

On Thursday 14th December the Grade 6 students celebrated their final year of primary school by spending the day in Frankston doing some fun activities.

Once everyone arrived at the meeting point, they set off on a walk around Frankston to look at some of the amazing street art displayed on the walls of many buildings before arriving at Beauty Park for a short break.

After that the students went to Strike Bowling where they played 2 games of Laser Tag.  It was very hot running around in the dark, but Jayden managed to get the highest score for hitting the most targets.

Next the students had a game of bowling.  Chayce, Levi, Jasper and Mr Hurford managed to get a strike, but Mr Hurford was the overall winner!
To finish off the fun filled day, the students broke off into teams for a round of mini golf at Holey Moley.

The students had a great time, and I am sure they all slept well that night!

Farewell 2023
Thank you to all the students, parents, carers and staff that have worked hard throughout 2023. The school is in a fantastic postion with a postive school climate, great staff and parent survey results and excellent growth data.

Christmas Raffle
Thank you for your support with the Christmas Raffle. $1360 was raised for the school.

Our current focus is on improving the basketball court area, however this is very expensive and will require further fundraising efforts if this is to be achievable.
