Yesterday our Grade 5 students had the opportunity to apply to be a part of next years leadership team.  The students did a wonderful job overcoming their nerves and getting up in front of staff and the senior school students to present their School Captain speeches.  The sucessful applicants will be announced at next weeks Graduation and Acedemic Excellence Awards ceremony.


Next Friday we also farewell our 2023 Grade 6 students at Karingal Heights Primary School's Graduation ceremony.  It is a sad time to say goodbye to our Grade 6 students but it is also a time to celebrate their time at KHPS.

For any parents/carers who wish to attend, the details for the evening are as follows:

This years Graduation and Acedemic Excellence Awards ceremony will take place at Karingal Heights Primary School in the BER Building on Friday 15th December 2023. For those who wish to attend could you please begin arriving at 5.30pm in order to be seated for a 6pm start.  Entrance will be through the gate at the Havana Oval end of the school. The dress attire for the night is neat casual.

Peta Murphy
As many of you are now aware, the Honerable Member for the Divison of Dunkley, Peta Murphy, passed away on Monday. KHPS would like to pay tribute to Peta and remember her as a person who fully supported our school community. Her message and mission to promote Fairness, Equality and Comminity is something that KHPS will always support.
Family Fun Night & Christmas Carols
A reminder that the Christmas Carols and Family Fun night is on Wednesday. Please bring a chair and or picnic rug for your comfort. Please feel free to bring snacks or a picnic. Gates open at 6:00pm for games and races. Christmas Carols to start at 6:45pm.
Christmas Raffle Draw
The Christmas Raffle Draw will be done at the Christmas Carols night. If the winners are not in attendance, they will be contacted the next day. Raffle tickets were asked to be in to the office by Friday 8th December. If you still have sold tickets at home, could you please bring them back on Monday? Last minute ticket sales will happen at the family fun night, for those who missed out. Please bring cash.
Orientation Day
On Tuesday 12th December, the students will be meeting their 2024 teachers. They will spend the morning with their new class members. The grade 6 students will be going to their high schools for the day. Please make sure you wear KHPS school uniform.
End of school for 2023
As the school comes to a close on 2023, many things are happening. Please make sure you keep looking at the event calendar.  School reports will be going home on Friday 15th of December. School finishes on Wednesday 20th December at 1:30pm
