Re-Surfaced and Colourful

Since the start of this year, KHPS has been on an journey with the collaboration of Achper Active Schools and GrasSports Australia. We are now the proud owners of a fantastic, multi-purpose synthetic grass area.

The past 2 weeks has seen a drastic change to the look of the basketball courts. As construction fences were erected and GrasSports Australia started work, the excitment grew amongst the children and staff. We were all very impressed to see the splash of colour go down as synthetic turf was laid down. When the truck came to take the fence away, the children's excitement couldn't be contained. The end results speak for themself and we couln't be any happier.

We would like to thank GrasSports Australia for battling the wet and cold weather to deliver a safe and engaging area for everyone to be active on.

A huge thank you needs to go to Acpher Active Schools for providing the grant funding to get the project started. We would also like to thank the school council for funding the cost gap for the project.

Please enjoy some of the progress pictures then come to the school and have a look.
