Blacksnake Incursion
On Wednesday the 15th of June we had an incursion at school. It was called Black Snake Productions.
The man showed us lots of animals. There was a scorpion that can glow in the dark. A turtle (Merrie River Turtle). This turtle can live up to 120 years. A lizard with two heads. Casper the slithering python. It strangles its prey and swallows it. The frog uses its springy tongue to catch its meals. A baby crocodile has small sharp teeth and claws. Bettong looks like a baby kangaroo (joey). They are eaten by foxes and wild cats. The dingo’s area part of the wolf family and is not a dog.
At the end I really enjoyed the show and it was great seeing the beautiful cute baby animals!

Get your move on
There are many benefits to being active and getting your move on, but a lot of our kids aren’t moving enough. 15 minutes 4 times a day is all it takes. Whatever gets them moving, gets them active.

SWPBS focus

Special Assembly
Our Academic Endeavour Award assembly will be on Friday 24th June at 2:00pm in the BER building. All parents are invited to attend. Please enter through the side gates.
