Happy Mother's Day

Cake, biscuits, homemade slices, what more could you ask for at our annual Mother's Day Morning Tea. The school leaders did a fantastic job of serving our female and male carers with lovely food made by the children for Mother's Day Morning Tea. There was standing room only as Prep/1D sang a lovey song and blew their mums a kiss. It was also lovely to see some of our grade 6 mums here for the last time. Take a look at a selection of photos on our Mother's Day 2022 gallery.

Firsts, Seconds and Thirds. Well done!

It was cold and wet but the children were great participants in the District Field Athletics on Wednesday. A lot of ribbons were awarded. Have a look at the District Field Events 2022 gallery and see the smiles.

We love swimming!

Bubbles, kick boards and lots of fun. What more can you ask for? Take a look at our Swimming P - 2 2022 gallery page.

Rapid Antigen Testing Survey

Dear parents and carers,

Important feedback on the rapid antigen testing (RAT) program is being sought from our school community through a short survey that has been developed by the Department of Health.

RATs are helping students and staff to safely attend school by ensuring positive cases are identified as quickly as possible. All RATs ordered by the Victorian government for schools are effective in detecting coronavirus (COVID-19) variants, including Omicron.

To help evaluate the roll-out of the program to schools in Term 2 and ensure that staff and students have the required support, a short survey is being sent to parents at a sample of Victorian schools.

Our school has been selected to complete the survey from Monday 2 May 2022. The survey is voluntary and anonymous. Our school will not have access to your individual data or responses. The link to the survey is here:

You are asked to complete the survey by 9.00am Monday 9 May 2022.

Kind regards,

Kerryn Riley

Students will not be required at school

Wednesday, 1st of June will be a whole school professional practice day.

Dear parents and carers,

For Term 2, 2022, the Department of Education and Training has provided schools with the option to hold each teacher’s allocated professional practice day on the same day for all staff. This is to enable the most effective and efficient use of this day.

As a result, we have scheduled our professional practice day for Wednesday, 1st June. Students will therefore not be required to attend school on this day.

We will be focussing on Mathematics.

Regards,

Kerryn Riley
