A Word From the Principal

What a busy week it has been this week. As you are aware we have had COVID cases at school but these have been picked up quickly through the use of the Rapid Antigen Tests supplied to all of our students. Thank you to everyone in their cooperation in using and reporting positive cases.

We have also had families asking about Prep tours for 2023. Tours will begin in Term 2. At this stage, to be able to attend a tour you need to be fully vaccinated. We will let you know if this changes in the future.

Have a great weekend,

Kerryn Riley

Breakfast Club is back! Breakfast Club is held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning between 8:30-8:45am. The gate will be opened at 8:30am for Breakfast Club attendees only. Breakfast Club is free and there is a range of cereals, fruit and toast available. We even have lactose free milk and gluten free cereal available. The children are excited.

Special Assembly

Congratulations to Kinisha and Mikayla who held their first assembly this afternoon. We will be having a special assembly on Friday 25th at 2:30pm. Paul Edbrooke MP will be presenting our School Captains and Leadership group with their badges and certificates. All parents and carers are able to attend assembly and gates will be opened for you.
When the weather is agreeable, assembly is held on the grassed deck area. For this, you do not need to check in. When it is unpleasant, assembly is held in the Mini Max. If this is the case you will need to check in and show your vaccination certificate.

We hope to see you either way.

Art Room News

We have been very busy in the art room and the unit we have all been working on is drawing. Across the school we have been using chalk, crayons, pastels and markers.
I am already thinking of next term. The Art Room needs 2 and 4 litre clean plastic mild containers. If you have any of these we would love them for our prep children to do some work in textiles.

Thank you Mrs Riley

New Vaccination Requirements

This requirement applies to:

  • Department staff who attend an education facility (such as allied health personnel)
  • Staff of any other entity who attends an education facility
  • Volunteers that attend an education facility and that work in close proximity to children, students or staff (including parent helpers)
  • Students on placements at an education facility.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
