A Word From Leadership

Welcome back to everyone who has needed to isolate. There are some extra changes that will be happening at the school if there is another COVID-19 exposure. Please read to find out more. It has been great to have a full school again this week. Things are starting to get back to normal and everyone is benifiting from this with their wellbeing, accademically and socially.

We are expecting a number of children to feel anxious about being at school after remote learning and then isolating. If you have a child that is anxious, please contact the school and speak to their teacher or Mr. Bodley.

NEW ISOLATION RULES IF THERE IS A SCHOOL BASED CONTACT
If a child or staff member is identified as a school-based contact (formally referred to as a primary close contact), they will need to receive a negative result from a standard PCR test.

Once a negative is reveived, your child may come straight back to school. This will change if cases are considered as an outbreak and you will be informed if this is the case.

IS YOUR CHILD ELIGIBLE FOR RAPID TESTING?
If a child becomes a school based contact, you can collect a pack of 5 rapid antigen testing kits from the testing center when they get their PCR test done.

MASKS IN SCHOOLS:
Masks are still to be worn in primary schools. Children in grades 3 to 6 must still wear masks at school. Younger students are encouraged to wear masks.

If you have any questions, please contact the school.

Kind regards,
Jeremy Bodley
