A Word From the Principal

It is always great to see the children and I try to pop into class meetings when I can. Thank you to the families that attended our online assembly this morning. We even had someone watching whilst in her car!

A big reminder to families who have not enrolled their child to start school next year. Transition sessions will be starting soon and only those that have enrolled will be invited. Unfortunately, we are unable to conduct school tours but take a look at virtual tour on the website.

Stay safe and we hope to see you all soon,

Kerryn Riley and the staff at KHPS

Our SWPBS focus

RESPECT
Karingal Heights PS will be focusing on RESPECT as a value for School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support.

Please read this article to find out more.

Why are we focusing of respect?

All children have to make many minor and major choices throughout the day. They learn to handle them in two ways; a respectful way or a disrespectful way.

If we speak respectfully, and treat others respectfully, then we get that respect back.

The school records different types of incidents and disrespect is one that is happening a lot.

There are students who are disrespectful to:
* Their peers.
* Their teachers.
* The environment.
* Property.
And much more.

We want to acknowledge those children who display respect with their actions.

Prep Transition News

It is almost time for Prep Transition to begin. Transition will begin online very soon which worked extremely well last year, giving Mrs Dickman time to meet children and their parents in small groups. Of course, meeting in person is better and hopefully we will be able to do this next term. Information will be sent out soon.

If you have not submitted your enrolment forms please do so as early as possible. Transition information will be sent to families that have enrolled.

We are still unable to conduct school tours but take a look at our vitual information that you can see on our website.

If you have any questions, please contact the office on 9789 3288.
