Early School Pick Up

There are times when we need to pick up our children early from school but.... At times you may need to pick your child up early from school and sometimes this is unavoidable but.........

If you know you are picking up your child early please contact the school in the morning to let the office know. It is difficult for the child, class, teacher and office if you give only 10 minutes notice or just turn up. Children and teachers are busy involved in work and time is needed to pack up work, give out notices, collect bags, etc. This afternoon Pauline needed to contact one classroom on three different occasions due to children being picked up early. This is very disruptive to all involved and takes the teacher from the important job of education.

Thank you to the parents who tell us the day before an appointment that their child will need to be at the office at a certain time to be picked up. It is much easier for all involved. Thank you for you cooperation and understanding.

We are having a working bee!

We are having an after school working bee so please book it into your diary! We are having a working bee on Friday 12th March from 3:30pm - 6:00pm. We have been collecting a lot of furniture, cupboards, old shelves, etc that need moving and putting into skips so we need quite a few strong adults to assist. There is also some mulch to move. We will finish off with a sausage sizzle and a chat. Unfortunately, no power tools are allowed unless they are battery operated.  All children must be accompanied by an adult. We hope to see you here.
