Even though things have eased dramatically in Victoria over the past month we all still need to stay safe. Please read the latest advice given to us from the Department of Education about child illness.
- Hay fever: If a student develops symptoms that are different to or worse than usual, they need to go home and school should recommend testing. Parents can get medical certificate from child's treating GP to confirm it is safe for them to attend school with persistent symptoms like cough or runny nose.
- Younger children (Prep to 2) who have negative COVID-19 test that was taken after they developed symptoms - if the child's treating GP is satisfied the child has recovered from their acute illness, is otherwise well, and does not need a repeat COVID-19 test, the child can return even if they are not completely free of symptoms. Any worsening symptoms will require review and repeat COVID-19 test (if considered appropriate by the doctor).
Please keep our school and our families safe.
